Great service! Reasonable prices without overselling you! I called the shop after several recommendations by neighbors to get a quote for a 100k service on my car. They quoted me only what was necessary. When I asked about other services that other shops recommended(including a dealer) they said they were trying to upsell me which of course I already knew but ToyTechs could’ve easily capitalized on my lack of knowledge. They gave me a fair quote and performed the work without any extra services.read more

These guys are great! Very friendly and easy to work with and HONEST!!! Another shop tried to sell me a $2,000 rack and pinion steering replacement for my leaking power steering fluid. Toytechs has been a staple in Liberty from what I understand. Visiting has made me realize the truth of why that is. Great service, and quick to finish regular maintenance work.They are honest, providing great advice. I took my Prius there a while ago for a new battery and they told me “you can do this for much cheaper than a mechanic, it’s not hard.” They were right I replaced the battery myself for a fraction of the cost. Grateful to have them in my backyard.read more

I have a 2000 tundra sr5. It wouldn't start when I was leaving a job 40 miles from home. If it was the starter it would have been $820 which is reasonable because you have to take the intake manifold off to get to it. The amazing mechanic's took the time to diagnose it. $82.00 later they just replaced my positive battery hook up. Knowing that I would have paid the $820. Solid honest mechanics are hard to find. They now have my business for life!read more

I finally found mechanics who know their way around an older Subaru. Had a problem for years with multiple mechanics saying they either didn't find a problem or attempts to fix were unsuccessful. (It took a light hand to feel vibration.) ToyTech diagnosed immediately and repaired. Two more big repair jobs have me hoping this will be my last car. It is a relief when a mechanic gives you (a woman) credit for knowing there is something wrong...not just brushing you off.read more

Shawn was great to deal with, he and Grant did a phenomenal job finding why it was stumbling. They actually do problem solving instead of just installing new parts hoping to find the cure. They use genuine Honda products, but didn’t try and up-sell me on maintenance that wasn’t necessary yet. Parking lot situation could be improved upon as far as a designated entrance/exit area for incoming clients, but besides that, good work. 👍🏻read more

I had electrical coil #1 go bad. Spoke to Shawn who informed me they could handle job. He actually replaced #1, 3, 5 on firewall side which makes sense because those are more difficult to access. Promised vehicle by Tuesday. I received vehicle back on Monday in proper working order. Impressed with the front office staff who treated me like family. I will be returning for future Toyota maintenance. Highly recommend over the dealer prices who always try to sell you maintenance items that are not needed.read more

I have told this story many many times but it is worth repeating.My husband and I were returning from vacation from Northern Minnesota to SW Missouri. Everything going great until we stopped to fill up with gas in Liberty Missouri.. Getting back on the highway the car, Toyota sequoia, began to shake and the dashboard light up like a Christmas tree.We pulled off the highway and being it was about 10:30 Saturday night we decided to get a hotel room. Our plan was to find a mechanic that we could get into on Monday but being my husband had to work Monday we world have to rent him a car and I would stay in liberty with the car.After getting into our hotel room we started looking in the phone book for mechanics.. I got on Google and searched also and saw great reviews for this company Toytechs.I told my husband to call and see if we could leave a message about our plight.But to our surprise Shawn answered the phone. My husband explained the situation and asked if we could we bring the car in Monday. Shawn said well you're not very far from me I will just ride my bike up there and check it out.Now my husband was a little shocked and maybe not thinking straight. He hangs up the phone and says the guy Shawn is close by and going to ride his bicycle over. I say okay and my husband heads down to the parking lot... Remember it is about 11 pm on a Saturday night.A short time later my husband comes back to the room and says that Shawn knows what's wrong and they are going to Toytechs to repair the car. Oh and by the way he did not arrive on a bicycle but drove up on his motorcycle. Too funnyMaybe 30 minutes later my husband returned with the car working perfectly. Shawn had the part needed to fix it right there in his shop.My daughter moved to kcmo and lives near the plaza but she drives to Toytechs in Liberty MO to get all of her car work done.Just recently my Toyota Prius hybrid battery went bad and it was cheaper for me to have it tolled from Greenfield MO than to get it fixed in nearby Springfield, MO. Had a throw out bearing go out on my Scion FRS. Had them replaced the whole clutch assembly. This car has had issues with them failing early, and they worked with me to get the new part Toyota introduced in 2017 for this reason. When I picked it up clutch needed some adjusting which they brought the car right in and did free of charge. Smoother than new now 😄. Front desk ladies are really sweet and willing to help, can't say enough about the techs. They obviously know what they are doing. Thanks all!!read more

Great work, great attention to detail. Shawn knows what he's doing. Not only did he tell me what was wrong with my vehicle, he showed me. Then he gave me not one, but 3 estimates. The first was just to fix the problem with after market parts, which was the most budget-friendly option. The next was to fix the problem and some other stuff that was likely to need fixing soon, with after market parts. The final one was the same as the second one, but with genuine Toyota OEM parts. You generally don't get service like that from the dealers, even when you bought your Toyota from them.Also, they offer a free second-opinion. You get an estimate from a local dealer, bring that estimate to Shawn and he'll give you an expert's second opinion. You can tell by all the certificates on the wall that he's been a Toyota master technician for a long time, and he keeps his certifications current. Can't go wrong here.read more
